This job required a polished floor in an attic in an old rectory. Rather than sand the floor, I thought it was best to maintain the patina of the floor and machine scrub and wax polish. The end result was an old floor completely preserved but with a lovely polished finish completely in keeping with a listed building. The quality of the photo is not brilliant as it was taken using my mobile phone.
Tim Marks formed Floor Sanding Services in 1998. Tim, himself a qualified carpenter and joiner, while sanding a customers floor he had laid, saw the need for a sanding and varnishing service carried out by a competent professional. With the latest American sanding technology and high quality finishing products the business soon became a success.
