In an effort to achieve an aged old look this floor was sanded to leave grooves in the wood. ie not sanded smooth and flat.Then buffed smooth and stained to in random manner to highlight the floor and sealed with Hardwax Oil. This type of approach can be slightly risky, but the end result was very nice with a happy customer. As with some of the previous pictures there is no before shot but the sanded pine was very "white" and new looking before the finishing process.
