Lynton town hall floor was taken up, under floor heating installed and the floor was relaid. As it is a listed building it was important for the floor to look original and old. although it was completely resanded back to new wood an old patina was created using specialist stains and afterwards sealed with Treatex Hardwax Oil creating the desired effect.
